This was not written in the 1950's. It was written this year. It frightens me.
Don't ask how I found this. Let's just say I've been doing some research for a writing project I might be persuing.

What the heck? This was written WHEN? Sheez! While some of those things I can see doing to eliminate unnecessary strife in a relationship BUT NOT at the expense of my feelings or any woman's beliefs!
INSANE. There are billions of women out there who are more than willing to do these things. I say, if that's the kind of woman that a man wants, that's the kind of woman he needs to be with. Cause I'm the wrong gal for THAT!

If I talked less than my husband I wouldn't ever talk. And I don't think it's in my DNA to not voice my opinions. I'm convinced God gave me that gift to enlighten others whether or not they are my husband.
it seems that 8 and 9 contradict each other. that is as much calm discussion of that post as I can muster. All I can do is shake my head and note that it was written by a guy. Should I ever meet this "doug" I will give him number 8 to the full extent and ignore all the other rules.
And on a side note, I personally feel that if you have to follow "rules" in your marriage or relationship as to your conduct towards each other (esp these kind of ASININE rules), instead of having a mutual loving respect, then your marriage is either ending in divorce or abuse.
